Physical Therapy
Lone Peak Physical Therapy has been providing quality physical therapy services to patients in the Gallatin Valley since 2001. Our therapists are highly trained in the fields of orthopedics and sports medicine and we offer the most advanced treatment techniques for injuries of the spine and extremities. Physical therapists are clinical practitioners who are licensed to treat conditions ranging from headaches to sprained ankles. We are musculo-skeletal specialists who treat injuries throughout the body. A physical therapist is a provider who can assist you in recovering from an injury, surgery or change in medical condition. Physical therapists are traditionally known as the providers who offer rehabilitative services after surgery. However, our scope of practice includes many other areas such as sports performance enhancement programs, medical weight loss counselling, amputation and prosthetic management, pre-surgical interventions (PRE-hab), and post-injury management.
At Lone Peak Physical Therapy, many of our patients are athletes. If you compete at the high-school, collegiate, recreational or professional level, your therapist understands the critical importance of returning you to a pre-injury level of sports participation. Whether your sport is horseback riding or hockey, football or Frisbee, our therapists will help you reach your sports performance goals.
Our therapists were recruited by Lone Peak Physical Therapy because they strive to provide excellent, state of the art orthopedic care in a fun, motivating environment. Each of our therapists brings a background in sports medicine and a passion for orthopedics to Lone Peak Physical Therapy. Our therapists can be found outside the clinic biking, running, kayaking and of course, skiing. One of our greatest rewards is meeting up with a former patient in a lift line or on a road bike ride following their successful discharge from physical therapy services. Our therapists live in the Gallatin Valley because they love the activities it offers - it’s easy to motivate a patient into recovery when cross country skiing or mountain biking trails are right out our clinic door. A glimpse into our clinic would reward the observer with a mix of laughter and medical expertise. Our therapists are having a great time assisting our patients on their road to recovery.
Our staff prides itself in keeping current with the latest treatment concepts and techniques in the field of rehabilitation. At our facility we utilize many approaches to meet each patient’s personal needs. Our therapists are trained in advanced manual therapy techniques including joint and soft tissue mobilization, muscle energy techniques, manipulation, and PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation). All of our patients receive an individualized exercise programs to compliment their “hands-on” treatment. Our practice does not utilize aids or assistants; you will be treated by your licensed physical therapist each visit, unlike other clinics that delegate critical components of rehab to staff. Traditional healing modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction are also a part of the rehabilitation process. Each of our clinics features state of the art equipment in a comfortable, yet motivating environment, designed to inspire a quick recovery. Our goal is to make your rehabilitation process as rapid, painless, and convenient as possible.
