Tawni Harper, OTR/L
Tawni Harper is a Butte native who is looking forward to returning home and becoming an active participant in the community she loves. After graduating from the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Creative Writing, Tawni attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and obtained a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and Montana Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA). Tawni spent her first year and a half as an OT gaining diverse experience in Dillon, MT where she became certified in and assisted in initiating the LSVT BIG program, an exercise treatment program tailored specifically for those with neurodegenerative conditions, such as Parkinson’s, MS, and stroke. As part of her graduate studies, Tawni also worked with rehabilitating clients with upper extremity complications. She enjoys working with people of all ages and focuses on getting to know each of her clients and understanding their individual needs. In addition to her love of reading and writing, Tawni appreciates the Montana outdoors and walking and hiking with friends. At Butte’s Lone Peak Physical Therapy, Tawni looks forward to working with clients to return to doing the things they love.
